Most patios and paved areas can easily be impregnated and sealed to effectively reduce future staining, green growth or even frost and freeze-thaw damage to porous stone or blocks for example.

CR Services recommend the application of clear, penetrating, aqueous hydrophobic impregnations to provide this long term protection against frost damage and which will also greatly reduce any future staining and dirt pick up, without changing the natural appearance, colour and patina of your stone, concrete or bricks.

Important Note: Cheap, and even not so cheap, ‘silicone waterproofers’ from Builders Merchants are a total waste of your time and money, as they need re-application frequently (not clear on tin!). They do not even last for a year in most situations because they do not penetrate deeply and are broken down and degraded quickly in sunlight.

When colour enhancement, with a matt sheen or even a gloss finish is preferred, then this can also be provided by CR Services, using a clear or coloured acrylic or polyurethane resin-based sealer to protect and enhance the surface.
